These websites operate in nearly 40 languages and 200 countries. In 2021, Booking Holdings was the leading online travel agency worldwide in terms of revenue, generating nearly 11 billion U.S. dollars. A similar trend can be seen in Booking Holding’s other performance indicators, such as net income and operating income. Unlike the company’s revenue, however, these performance indicators did not surpass their pre-pandemic levels in 2022. From February 2023 to June 2023, the estimated number of visits to Booking.com worldwide increased month-over-month, further highlighting the company’s popularity. The number of visitors in February 2023 amounted to 495.5 million and by June 2023, that figure increased to 614.1 million.
