Consumers' awareness level regarding personal data privacy Asia 2022, by country

According to a December 2022 survey, 66 percent of the respondents in Thailand stated to be aware of how their personal data is being handled after sharing it with data collectors such as service providers. In contrast, merely 13 percent of respondents in Japan showed confidence in their own awareness regarding the handling of their personal data.
