Consumer spending on home entertainment in the U.S. 1999-2019

Consumer spending on digital entertainment in the United States on digital distribution reached a record 25.17 billion U.S. dollars in 2019, up by 8.4 percent from the previous year. Spending on physical rentals continued to decrease whilst digital formats saw an increase. SVoD subscription expenditure grew by around three billion U.S. dollars year on year.
