
Consumer spending on home entertainment in the U.S. 1999-2022
Consumer spending on digital entertainment in the United States on digital distribution reached a record 36.6 billion U.S. dollars in 2022, up by over 11 percent from the previous year. Spending on physical rentals continued to decrease whilst digital formats saw an increase. SVOD subscription expenditure grew by around 4.5 billion U.S. dollars year on year.
