In a survey of marketers and exhibitors in the United States gauging the state of the exhibition industry, respondents were asked about their perception of trade shows as a marketing tool in 2020. The results of the survey show that two percent of respondents reported feeling pessimistic about its effectiveness, while 42 felt hopeful. However, the questions were asked before the global coronavirus pandemic, which greatly affected the industry.
