Consumer opinions on brands as opposed to supermarket brands United Kingdom 2016 This statistic shows the results of a survey in which respondents were asked whether there is a difference between leading brands and supermarket brands in the United Kingdom (UK) in 2016, by primary supermarket. A majority of 76 percent of respondents from Aldi do not find much difference between branded products and private label, in contrast with only 40 percent of respondents that shop at Marks and Spencers.
