Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu and other streaming platforms are becoming increasingly ubiquitous in American homes. The Leichtman Research Group recently released new research which found that 74 percent of all U.S. households now have some form of subscription video-on-demand service, up from 64 percent in 2017 and 52 percent in 2015.
Among those with such a service, 69 percent of households are using more than one, up from 38 percent in 2015. Overall, 51 percent of American households have access to multiple streaming platforms.
