Share of elderly who have received digital help in Norway 2014-2018, by problem type
The share of elderly in Norway needing digital assistance has declined over the past years. While 68 percent of the respondents needed help installing software on their digital devices in 2014, only 59 percent sought assistance in 2018. Similarly, the share of elderly seeking help from friends or family when choosing settings on their device, declined from 67 percent in 2014 to 59 percent four years later.
