Type of YouTube content watched in Italy 2019, by macro-region
What is the geographic distribution of YouTube content consumption in Italy? A survey conducted in March/April 2019 suggested differences across macro-regions were not very significant. The favorite type of content was music videos for every macro-region, with an average of 73 percent of respondents citing it among their regular contents. The region comprising the South and the Islands seemed comparatively more interested than the others in live streams and brands or products channels. On the other hand, the region most into tutorials was the Center, with 62 percent of the respondents choosing this option.
