Fresh fruit sales volume in Russia in 2019, by type
During the time under consideration, the sales volume of apples was recorded at two million metric tons, being the highest among the listed categories. Watermelon and sweet melon followed next, with approximately 1.2 million metric tons sold countrywide. Least popular fruits among Russian consumers were pears and quince, their sales volume was recorded at 240 thousand metric tons in 2019.
