French people's intentions to purchase Christmas gifts in supermarkets 2020
The current health crisis is likely to have had various consequences on the purchasing behaviors and habits of people in France. The purchase of Christmas gifts is no exception, and it seems that this year, Christmas shopping is taking a different turn than in the previous ones. It appears that this period could negatively affect hypermarkets and supermarkets, insofar as by mid-November 2020, 43 percent of French people were planning to visit them less than the previous year to buy Christmas gifts.
