Main reasons why participants tried vegan food during Veganuary 2022

According to 44 percent of survey respondents who took part in Veganuary 2022 worldwide, animals were the leading motivation to try the vegan diet. Other participants were motivated by personal health reasons (21 percent) and the environment (19 percent). These three reasons are commonly the main motivators in most Western cultures for going vegan or vegetarian.
