The 2001 musical comedy Josie and the Pussycats was the movie with the all-time highest number of product placements as of March 2022, with 109 individual instances of products being included in it for marketing reasons. The first big screen adaptation of the Sex and the City TV show, which came out in 2008, had the second highest number of product placements, with 89 instances, the same amount held by 2006 comedy Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby.
