Non-English language content on Netflix and Prime Video in Europe 2019-2021

The share of non-English language content across the European big five (UK, France, Italy, Germany, and Spain) increased between 2019 and 2021 on the streaming platform Netflix and Amazon Prime Video, showing the increasing importance of local streaming delivery. In October 2021, non-English language content accounted for 25 percent of Prime Video's content, up from 19 percent in 2019.
