U.S. consumers: social media feed ad experience 2021
According to a 2021 study conducted in the United States, 38 percent of social media users said that the growth of fake news had made them less trusting of the adverts they see on social media. Additionally, 16 percent of respondents preferred to see ads on their social feeds than on the open web. Moreover, just 13 percent engaged with ads on their social media feeds.
