ZEV driving range by manufacturer and vehicle class 2022
In 2022, BYD's average driving range for subcompact zero-emissions vehicles (ZEVs) was the highest compared to other electric vehicle manufacturers, at 352 kilometers. In contrast, Tata Motor's average driving range was 113 kilometers, the lowest in the same vehicle class. In contrast, in the sport-utility vehicle and multi-purpose vehicle segment, Ford and Tesla recorded the longest average ranges.
