Number of advertising complaints made India FY 2021-2023
In the financial year 2023, just under 9,000 advertising complaints were lodged in India. The number of advertising complaints rose by approximately 46 percent since fiscal year 2021 across the country. A majority of these complaints were lodged and processed by the Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI), a self-regulatory body within the Indian advertising industry.
