Annual rate of change of loans to households for house purchase in Portugal 2018-2023

In Portugal, the rate of change of bank interest rates for loans provided to households for house purchase fluctuated during the period considered. In January 2018, the rate of change was almost three percent. It remained relatively steady until August 2022 when it reached almost four percent. By December 2022, the indicator went up to almost five percent and maintained this upwards trend, which culminated in 6.25 percent in October 2023
