PepsiCo's net income worldwide 2007-2021

In 2021, PepsiCo’s net income amounted to more than seven billion U.S. dollars. The company’s net earnings were by far the highest in 2018, when over 12 billion U.S. dollars was made. PepsiCo is a large American food and beverage enterprise, responsible for various well-known brands, including Pepsi, Mountain Dew, and Doritos.

Pepsi is one of the world’s most successful soft drink brands. In 2021, Pepsi had a brand value of about 13.7 billion U.S. dollars, making it the fourth-most valuable soft drink brand in the world. Coca-Cola was the unequivocal leader that year with a brand value of almost 75 billion U.S. dollars.

Frito-Lay in the US

Frito-Lay, a subsidiary of PepsiCo, which produces and sells chips and snack foods, was by far the leading vendor of potato chips in the United States in 2020. The company sold almost five billion U.S. dollars’ worth of chips. In 2021, Frito-Lay, Inc. was also in the lead when it came to tortilla and tostada chips, with sales in excess of four billion U.S. dollars.
