Survey on the most popular sports shoes brands in Germany 2014-2017 This statistic shows the results of a survey concerning the most popular brands of sports shoes in Germany from 2014 to 2017. During the 2017 survey period it was found that roughly 15.8 percent of respondents aged 14 years and older stated that they had bought Adidas shoes in the previous twelve months. The German sports products manufacturer was therefore the most popular choice among surveyed consumers that year, followed by Nike with 15.3 percent of respondents having bought their sports shoes from the brand. Adidas consistently ranked highest among sportswear brands in Germany, based on various surveys. As of 2017, regarding sports footwear brand vs. price awareness in Germany, 41.3 percent of respondents reported being influenced by the brand when deciding on a purchase, while 40.6 percent looked at the price.
