Luxembourg: e-money payments

The total number of e-money transactions made in Luxembourg from 2009 to 2020 has been on the rise annually throughout this period. In 2013, there were approximately 1.24 billion e-money purchases made in Luxembourg which has grown to over 4.4 billion in 2020. Luxembourg is by far the country with the most e-money transactions in the European Union.
