The statistic shows the results of a survey conducted in the United States in April 2017. U.S. residents were asked about their preference for male or female voices for digital voice assistant. At that time, 22 percent of respondents indicated that they had a strong preference for a female voice. Virtual digital assistants are software programs that take natural language commands or questions, either in written or spoken form, and attempt to carry out a task or provide an answer for the user.
