WordPress Turns 10


Ten years ago, on May 27, 2003, the first version of WordPress was released by its founders Matt Mullenweg and Mike Little. The open source blogging tool currently powers 66 million websites, including high profile users such as TechCrunch and CNN.

WordPress websites generate more than 4 billion pageviews from 368 million people per month.
