Forecasted loss when closing museums due to COVID-19 in Denmark 2020

According to a survey, museums in Denmark are expected to lose 292 million Danish kroner in revenue when closing in March, April, and May 2020. In detail, museums were expected to lose 196 million kroner from missing entrance fees, 74 million kroner from closing museum shops and cafés, as well as 22 million kroner from events.
