Impact of the coronavirus outbreak on Swedish music performances 2020

Due to the coronavirus outbreak, a lot of music performance had to be cancelled to prevent spreading the virus. In Sweden, most of the gigs that had been cancelled for April and May 2020 were concerts with a small audience of fewer than 500 people, with at least 1,630 performance cancellations.

The first case of COVID-19 in Sweden was confirmed on January 31, 2020. For further information about the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, please visit our dedicated Fact and Figures page.
