The outbreak and following measures have made it hard for several industries to survive. The highest number of dismissals in April was within the manufacturing industry, where the number amounted to over 4,500. The water supply and waste management industry had the lowest number of dismissals, with only 42 over the whole period. As of August 2023, the number of dismissals was 3,400, with the highest number within the manufacturing industry.
