As the end of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic inches closer and large numbers of people are getting vaccinated, many consumers in the United States are planning to indulge themselves when shopping in 2021. As of February 2021, more than half of fully or partially vaccinated Americans expected to spend extra on leisure products and services in order to treat themselves. Approximately 45 percent of individuals, who were not likely to get a vaccine, planned to the same.
