Mobile video call usage reach 2022, by age and gender
During the third quarter of 2022, almost 41 percent of female internet users aged between 16 and 24 years were using their mobile devices or smartphones to make video calls. Only 34 percent of men in the same age group were doing the same. Mobile video communication apps have become increasingly popular in recent years, with WhatsApp counting approximately two billion monthly active users at the beginning of 2022.
