Social media use as main news source by age Russia 2022

According to a survey from October 2022, 60 percent of young media consumers between 18 and 24 years old in Russia used social media as their main news source. The share of social media news readers in the country decreased with age, and only one in five Russians aged above 55 years received news mainly from social media.
