The largest share of users of advanced TV advertising in Russia was aged between 25 and 34 years, according to the data collected from August to October 2021. The second-largest audience category was from 35 to 44 years of age, accounting for slightly over one-quarter of the total. Advanced TV advertising is used on Internet Protocol television (IPTV) and over-the-top (OTT) video services as well as on TV sets connected to the internet. Examples of advanced TV advertising formats include widgets and interactive banners that appear on the screen during streaming.
