Astrology-focused commercial period tracking app Stardust has experienced a peak of downloads from users in the United States in the last examined calendar week. Between June 19 and 26, 2022, the mobile app amassed almost 440 thousand downloads from users in the United States, up by 3,954 percent compared to the previous week. The increase in downloads is due to the overturning of abortion rights in the United States. Women in the country have been advised to delete their period tracking app due to privacy concerns.
