Brazil: WhatsApp users by generation 2023

According to a 2023 survey, 41 percent of WhatsApp users in Brazil were Millennials. The instant messaging app has similar popularity among respondents from generations X and Z, with gradually less users among older age groups. Additionally, it was found that the app was used to access news by more than half of respondents older than 45 years old in the country, with a lower usage for this mean among younger age groups.
