Yearly growth in monthly time spent using social media apps on Android worldwide 2021
In 2021, global Android users spent approximately 48 percent more time per month engaging with social video app TikTok than in 2020. By comparison, YouTube saw a growth in time spent of approximately two percent year-over-year among Android users worldwide. Instagram users spent approximately 10 percent more hours per month engaging with the platform's app, while users of the Facebook mobile app did not see an increase in engagement over the examined period.
