A survey conducted among Twitter users in Japan in June 2023 showed that almost 24 percent of the respondents used Twitter more than 10 times per day. The combined share of respondents who used Twitter on a daily basis amounted to 81.4 percent. The service was acquired by Elon Musk in October 2022 and rebranded to X in July 2023.
