X's penetration rate in Japan FY 2023, by age group
Almost 82 percent of people in their twenties in Japan used X in fiscal year 2023. While a majority of people aged 13 to 39 years old used the microblogging service, older age groups used it to a lower degree. The service was acquired by Elon Musk in October 2022 and rebranded to X in July 2023.
