U.S social media daily engagement 2022, by generation

According to a November 2022 survey of Gen Z and adult users in the United States conducted, around two out of every 10 Gen Zers reported using social media for more than four hours daily. In comparison, the share of adults reporting to spend more than four hours every day on online social platforms was of approximately 10 percent. Additionally, around 20 percent of adults reported using social networks for less than an hour per day. In contrast, only 4 percent of Gen Zers stated that they spent less than an hour per day on social media.
