According to an online survey conducted in 2022, 58 percent of adolescent girls in the United States had experienced Unwanted contact by strangers on Instagram. Overall, 57 percent of respondents reported being contacted by strangers on Snapchat, while 46 percent reported this kind of unwanted behavior on TikTok.
