Breakdown of household retail purchases of fresh and frozen lamb GB 1995-2015 This statistic shows a breakdown of the household retail purchase volumes of fresh and frozen lamb in Great Britain (GB) from 1995 to 2015, by cut. The volume of household purchases of lamb has decreased in the period under consideration with a peak in 1995 and a low in 2011, led by a decrease in the volume of purchases of lamb for roasting, which has lost approximately 30 thousand tonnes in volume. All lamb cuts, including lamb chops / steaks and lamb for roasting, have decreased in purchase volume, excluding minced lamb.
