Consumer reasons for barbecuing Germany 2017 This statistic shows the results of a survey, which asked respondents if they like to barbecue and their reasons for doing so in Germany in 2017. A majority of 78.7 percent of respondents like the barbecue taste, followed by an equally split 74.7 percent who either enjoy the opportunity to see friends and family or who love the outdoor cooking experience. In contrast, only 5.3 percent barbecue because they don't enjoy cooking.
