The statistic shows the share of villas and palaces of historical and artistic interest in Italy by region, compared to a series of selected cultural facilities (museums and galleries, archeological parks and areas, monuments and monumental complexes). As of 2018, Piedmont recorded the highest share. Historical villas and palaces consisted of 5.4 percent of all selected cultural facilities in this Italian region in 2018.
