Box office revenue in Latin America 2004-2021
In 2021, the box office revenue in Latin America added up to 900 million U.S. dollars, up from 500 million dollars in the previous year – an annual increase of 80 percent. However, the 2021 figure amounted to less than one-third of the 2.8-billion-dollar result recorded in 2019, before the COVID-19 outbreak.
