Beverage purchase preferences in the Netherlands 2018, by age
The statistic displays the results of a survey concerning beverage purchasing preferences in the Netherlands in 2018, by age. The survey results show that as of 2018, the majority of respondents, regardless of age, preferred to purchase beverages from international brands. Over 50 percent of respondents in all age groups displayed a preference for big brands when it came to beverages. The share of 18 to 24 year olds who preferred to buy big brands and local brands were highest in 2018, at 66 percent and roughly ten percent respectively.
