French people's intentions to purchase Christmas gifts in independent stores 2020
The current health crisis is likely to have had various consequences on the purchasing behaviors and habits of people in France. The purchase of Christmas gifts is no exception, and it seems that this year, Christmas shopping is taking a different turn than in the previous ones. It appears, however, that this period should benefit independent stores, insofar as by mid-November 2020, a third of French people were planning to visit them more than the previous year to buy Christmas gifts.
