A survey asking consumers how frequently they were shopping for fresh food in 2019 and 2020 revealed that in 2020, consumers were much more likely to shop less than once a week than they were in 2019. The percentage of consumers who shopped about once a week stayed about the same in both years, at almost 45 percent.
