Daily usage of selected social and gaming platforms by U.S. children 2020
In a survey conducted in November 2020, it was found that 80 percent of 9 to 17 years old children in the United States used YouTube at least once a day. Instagram was also among the frequently used online platforms. According to the same survey, 50 percent of children used the platform at least once a day. Meanwhile, 59 percent of 13-17-year-olds used the platform daily. TikTok was popular among U.S. children too. The survey found that 49 percent of 13-17-year-olds used the video-sharing platform at least once a day.
