In the third quarter of 2022, Instagram recorded the highest ad revenue growth among all digital media in Hong Kong. The social media platform saw a 41 percent increase in ad spending compared to the same quarter in the previous year. Hong Kong's ad spending totaled at 7.5 billion Hong Kong dollars between July and September 2022 and 16.2 percent of which were from social media.
