In 2018, UK advertising spend was forecast to have reached almost 20 billion British pounds, which is set to increase by the end of 2019. 2015 saw the shift in advertising spending with paid search overtaking television advertising for the first time. In contrast to the fast-growing world of digital advertising, spend in magazine and newspapers has been forecast to decrease between 2018 and 2019.
