Italy: share of online customers 2016-2017, by municipality size This statistic illustrates the results of a survey on the distribution of usual e-commerce customers in Italy as of the the first quarter of 2016 and the third quarter of 2017, sorted by municipality size. According to the survey results, roughly 35 percent of e-commerce customers that bought online three or four goods during the third quarter of 2017 came from municipalities with more than 100.000 inhabitants.
