On average, the companies surveyed generate 41% of their revenue via desktop websites, 23% via a retail store and 15% over a mobile website. The average shopping cart is as big as 153€, while the average number of returns is at 20%. Amazon and Zalando are recognized leaders in the industry in terms of customer service etc.
