Newspaper revenue in Mexico 2016-2025, by platform
In 2020, print newspapers generated 1.02 billion U.S. dollars in revenue. It was forecast that, by 2025, this annual figure would decrease by about 6.3 percent and stand at 956 million dollars. Meanwhile, the annual revenue of digital newspapers in Mexico was projected to go from around 53 million dollars in 2020 to nearly 73 million dollars in 2025 – an increase of over 37 percent in five years.
