Since the president of Spain declared the state of alarm in March 14, 2020, Spaniards have lived under very restraining isolation rules. Under these circumstances, media consumption habits have changed dramatically in the course of March 2020 in a society very used to interacting outdoors. The results of a survey conducted in March that year revealed that most of the Spaniards found entertainment in watching TV, as stated by 67 percent of respondents. Subscription-based platformts such as Netflix or Movistar+ accounted for 59 percent of responses.
